As Senior Vice President Operations & Leasing USA, Bruce oversees operations and manages the US offices for MDC Realty Advisors.

Widely known for delivery of business results, Bruce Backstrom has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience across management and leasing of office, retail, industrial and medical office buildings, with special focus on receivership responsibilities for distressed properties.

• Bruce joined MDC  in 2011 as Executive Vice President of Operations & Leasing USA in Denver, Colorado.

• Before joining MDC, Bruce was the Managing Director of Asset Services for CBRE in Colorado, overseeing a staff of over 200 individuals who managed a portfolio of over 26 million square feet.

• He spent seven years as senior vice president at Trammell Crow Company, managing the Colorado Property Management team.

• Prior to that, he was senior real estate manager for CB Richard Ellis, responsible for a portfolio of over two million square feet.
