Hudson's Bay Center

Denver, CO

Hudson’s Bay Center is a 172,024 sq.ft. boutique Class A transit-oriented office tower. MDC acquired the property through co-investment with a REIT. MDC Sold it’s 50% interest in the partnership to our REIT partner in March of 2018.

Hudson’s Bay Center is situated at the corner of the vibrant, pedestrian-only 16th Street Mall and Stout Street in the heart of Midtown Denver, only minutes from Lower Downtown and Union Station.  The property’s location provides tenants and visitors a central locale within Denver’s Central Business District (CBD). This strategic advantage has made Hudson’s Bay Center one of Denver’s most prominent office towers for small- to medium-sized tenants within the CBD.

The property was designed and built by the renowned architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in 1982 and boasts efficient 9,500 square foot floor plates, as well as spectacular mountain views. This unique office tower fills a niche in Denver’s Central Business District for high profile, image-conscious, small to midsize tenants seeking a truly Class A environment.

The property is a short walk from countless restaurants, hotels and retailers, and is only two blocks from the Colorado Convention Center, which is home to over 400 annual events with nearly 900,000 annual attendees.

Denver Pavilions, the CBD’s retail focal point and shopping destination that houses tenants such as Banana Republic, H&M, GAP, and Victoria’s Secret, is two blocks from the property; the Denver Center for the Performing Arts is 3 blocks away.
