MDC’s journey is one of strategic vision and intentional growth.  What began as a small family office, has evolved over four decades into a trusted name in commercial real estate with institutional credibility, experience and a track record for delivering exceptional results for our clients.

1979

Ownership Mindset

1979-1994

In the late 1980’s the Kohn Family was one of the largest electrical contracting firms in Western Canada.  Kohn Electric sold in 1988, and proceeds enabled the Kohn family to focus into acquiring strategically located Properties in Alberta, Canada.
